  3. Gorgeous! I love the curtains against the colouring of the wall, and the chandelier.

Don't worry about the dog, ours likes to sprawl across the méridienne, and he's not nearly as small and manageable as yours.

  13. Thank you all for your kind comments about the room - just a note on the curtains ... a couple of people have emailed me questions: yes, they are silk, and I think the reason they hang like that is because they are lined and interlined. All has to be done by hand, long but worthwhile in my humble opinion. I reckon on several hours sewing per curtain. Makes for warm curtains that hang beautifully.

  14. Your curtains are lovely, they look like Dupioni silk. I learned something new today. I had not heard of interlined. This green has been my new favorite color for a while now. Along with the wall color and the touch of pink, gorgeous... And, I don't know what to tell you about that dog. He does make you smile though. I am glad the sun is shining on you today.

  16. WOW! What a gorgeous chair. I love the shape and the fabric.

I knew that couldn't be Ghetto sitting on it. He would have been on the naughty step instead of having his picture taken.
