greetings to you all for this pre-christmas weekend
this is very nearly my last post before our christmas celebrations
I would like to tell you that the house is calm, filled only with the sound of children humming happy songs, the fire crackling and the sweet perfume of festive baking in the kitchen, ....

but.....
unfortunately that is so far from the truth
that I hate to even to talk about it ...hmmm..
'headless chicken' would be the most accurate description
of this xmas blogger, but hey ho, c'est la vie ...
we'll get there in the end
we'll get there in the end
so today, I bring
you images from many talented
French blogs, who are making this
christmas very
white and very creative,
girls such as
girls such as
Mo,
I have found inspiration in these pictures, as well
as many others that I've pinned to my Noël page,
I hope they give you some great ideas too
à demain mes amis
and happy preparations

ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like she is walking around like a chook without his head...
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family - it's been a pleasure to have been invited into your home and your life this past year.
I'm just reading a very few of my favourite blogs before scurrying around with my final Christmas preparations.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas, filled with love, joy, hope and peace. Joyeux Noel!
I was feeling so bad about sitting on my laptop wasting time when I should be wrapping presents & doing several other things for Christmas until I got to "headless chicken"! I couldn't stop laughing, lol. The only thing I've accomplished so far is getting the several boxes of wrapping articles down from the garage loft. I'm still in recovery mode from our large holiday party last Saturday night, which everyone wants me to do again next year, yikes!...give me some breathing space please!! I'm in a happy mood none the less because today is my birthday, but I'm keeping it low-key with the celebrating. Looking out my window at a dull brown yard sure doesn't bring thoughts of Christmas cheer, but your pictures on today's post definitely help. I want to let you know how much I truly enjoy reading your blog and how much I enjoyed visiting your home this fall. It was an experience I would love to repeat. Happy Holidays & a Happy New Year to you and your wonderful family!
