cool...but is the giveaway open worldwide???
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, lustworthy things, but I only get a sliver of picture and have to click to get an enlargement (not always big enough) and the prices (rather steep!). Not sure if this is what you mean by "not loading properly".
ReplyDeleteI´ve got the same problem as Lizzie. I can`t see the beautiful pictures unless I click on a very narrow coloured stripe (which enlarges as picture). The pillow sham is gorgeous, I love linen and old, handmade pillows!
ReplyDeleteYours, Karin
Morning, all I can say is I really wished I lived in Normandy. Wow, what an amazing store you have and all the luxourious items you have on sale. I can almost smell the nostalgia in the linens.......somebody commented on the prices being a bit steep, you get what you pay for in my opinion, and its great it includes shipping too. Welldone on your store it, s evident where your passion lies, really inspirational. Would love to win the give away. Also it has my. Initial embroided into it........keep up the fab work.
ReplyDeleteMuch love Maria. Xx
Wish I could access the store but I only see the pitcher on the left and the headers for the categories; the pull down menus do not go anywhere. :-( Thanks for the pillow sham giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI´m experiencing some problems when entering your store...Really, really small pictures! And i'm not able to enlarge them...
Love the pillow, it's amazingly beautiful! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
Hi Sharon. Sorry I'm one of the unlucky ones - "My French Country Brocante" won't load for me either! The headings come up, then when I click on one of the sub-headings, I get a message "error on page". I've tried loading your Guest Cottage, Paris Travel Group, Stacey Snacks etc, and they work no problem. Hope this helps you tracking the glitsch. Lovely pillow sham! Have a lovely day in beautiful Normandy. Julie
ReplyDeleteSharon.. what a great give a-way this is.. the items and store look great.. one of the many items that I love are href="http://www.myfrenchcountrybrocante.com/#!product/zoom1yla/256688281/Old french canning jars" target="_blank">canning jars since I love to jam, jelly and brine summer goodies for winter tastes.
ReplyDeletewarm hugs,
Cotton Peony
I need this sham! Plus it's got my last-name initial! Congratulations on your new store, Sharon, I love everything you are selling. - Cheryl
ReplyDeleteYour store is something to dream about!! M is the first initial for both myself and my husband!!
ReplyDeleteMary Ann
The store is absolutely beautiful and such a lovely choice of things. Is the physical store in Normandy??? I'll be in Caen for three weeks in January and would love to see the actual space. Susan
ReplyDeleteI personally love the embroidered linens, especially the tea towels with the red initials. I love to wrap gifts in vintage teatowels, so they would be a lovely item to have.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win the pillowslip...my daughters names begins with M, so I would let her have it for her new apartment.
Your site loaded fine for me and looks great.
I love your store - I especially covet the monogrammed tea towels, even though they aren't in my initials!
ReplyDeleteThis sham is beautiful - my maiden name starts with "M", so it wouldn't be entirely inappropriate to have this lovely piece in my hoome :)
Your site loaded fine for me! Very nice, especially the embroidered linens.
ReplyDeleteLucyB, Kansas
Store site loads fine here. Looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shoppe. Beautiful things....eye candy for all who love fine things. Love the pillow cover and would love to own this piece.
ReplyDeleteoops forgot my email link
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you could give sizes for the night dresses? I am rather 'vertically-challenged' and so find it hard to get clothes that do not swamp me, but a French night dress would remind me of the week I spent grape-picking in Burgundy when the farmer's wife dressed me in a voluminous nightie and tucked me up in a huge bed at night
And could we have more old documents like the three I bought last year please?
Thank You
Mouse (no link I am a work!)
love the new site Sharon, but nothing beats shopping in that store in person :)! I am keeping my eye out for 2 full or queen size white linens that I could sew together to make a duvet cover for my guest studio. Let me know if you have any , I only saw the blue ones in the store. Not partial to any intials, although that "M" seems rather appropriate, don't you think?? Take Care!
ReplyDeleteNo problems loading any on my computer so far.
ReplyDeleteThe linens are fabulous, as usual. Don't know what I would do with the letter M, but someone would!
Lovely giveaway. I would love to be the lucky one to wi. This sham. Your online store is beautiful and I had no problem viewing the beautiful eye candy.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to visit Paris again next October. I am also loving your assorted tea towels in your shop.
Ohhh, my last name begins with "M" and this would look so incredibly beautiful on my bed! Thank you so much for the lovely giveaway! Best of luck on your exquisite new store!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon..I couldn't view your on-line store (the pages were blank) but I've visited your blog many times and know everything has to be lovely. I would love to win this monogrammed pillow slip. "M" would work out beautifully!
ReplyDeleteMarlis-Boise,Id.
Oh what a beautiful new site for your "boutique". Everything is so lovely and special with a story all its own. Thank you, Sharon.
ReplyDelete~ Christina ♥ (Los Angeles)
Your shop loads well and is east to navigate. I love the linens and the tureens.
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in the draw...I'd love a pillow slip from France!
This beautiful pillow sham is just a beautiful extension of your lovely blog that we all so look forward to reading everyday to see what's up with Sharon. Thanks for the opportunity to win and it would be an honor....mine!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! It is so lovely and I'm so happy to be included in your giveaway. I love the variety of textiles you have to offer in your shop. I didn't have any problems loading and found it to be very easy to navigate. It is one of the prettiest shops I've been too! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shop! I love the sham and my first initial is "M" so it would be a perfect fit!
ReplyDeleteOh I tried all day to see the store, but now I know that it is not my computer. It just comes up "error on page". Can not wait to see inside when all is fixed. I ADORE the beautiful sham, and would be perfect in my cottage!! Thanks for the giveaway and the best of luck. Regards, Michelle mkg211@aol.com
ReplyDeleteOh how perfect this would be for me as my last name is Michael! Do you have more with the M initial on them I could purchase? ~Cheers Kim

ReplyDeleteHi, Sharon -
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Your online shop site is fabulous and very easy to use. I like that shipping is included in the price quote. Beautiful photos......one thing I couldn't do was enlarge the photos....they are quite small. Other than that, everything is loading properly. I am dreaming about the 5 Sarreguemines white ironstone bowls.....might have to put those on my Christmas list.
Many congratulations! I'll be a frequent visitor.
xoxo

I felt disappointed I was unable to get your website store to "work"...but I see it's not just me :) thank goodness as I was going to get upset with my computer and server! lol...I love the sham and would like to be considered in your giveaway...my husband's name is Murray so would be perfect for our bed (wink)
ReplyDeleteDebra F.
I like your online store - especially the linens page.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoy reading your blog every morning!
The site loaded for me with no problems. Congratulations! The pictures are delightfully enticing, while the site as a whole is streamlined and uncluttered - just what makes for pleasurable shopping. :) A few dimensions / sizes might be helpful, whether for baskets, sheets, nightgowns, or plates.
ReplyDeleteWishing you success!
Beautiful store. I especially like the linens.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Sharon... the store is gorgeous and I would love every treasure in it!...
ReplyDeleteYou are going to be very busy re-stocking and packing I think... goodies won't last long... :)

I love your store. I love everything French. My neighbor is from France and she is a most fascinating person. Her food is to die for and her hand sewing keeps me mesmerized. Please enter my name in your drawing. For some reason, it will not accept my google password so my email address is sandymcconnell30
ReplyDelete@yahoo.com in case I win. With my name being "Sandy" and my last name starting with an "M" I hope I win!!!
Le linge ancien est aussi une de mes passion et cette taie d'oreiller est une merveille
ReplyDeleteNell
the store is wonderful! Such beautiful photos, as always. And this pillow sham is to die for!
ReplyDeleteLove your online store and your brocante finds. It is a lot easier for us now to find our favorite items. The pictures of brocante are always gorgeous!!!

I love your blog and store. The blue and white lids are my faves.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Now I need to look at more of your linens to see if there is something I can not live without!
ReplyDeleteGood evening Sharon,
ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful tour in your store and I think it represents your way of life. I like very much the pieces you are able to find in the local brocantes. Thanks for bringing in my home a piece of my lovely France. I wish I'll be there one day.I adore your pillow of course.
Emilia
nuovadidattica@tiscali.it
I used Google Chrome (as my browser) to view the shop and everything worked fine, and was lovely. That bistro cup set was so sweet. M would be perfect, thank you for the opportunity to win!
ReplyDeleteI had a look at your store the other day and it loaded fine for me. I love all your lovely linens. Those gorgeous red quilts you have in the slider are superb and I remember the lovely story you recounted about their discovery.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you are willing to ship the prize to Australia. If not no worries and good luck to everyone.
Carolyn
I love your store! I wish I could buy it all. I guess I have to settle for hoping to win the give away. My e-mail is parkfam316@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteFinally it's here! I love your new online shop and hoped it might happen. And, it works just fine for me. By the way, my first name is Marguerite.....if that should matter in the giveaway!!! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon
ReplyDeleteThe new store looks fabulous - and is also informative and very enticing. The only issue I had was the photos seemed to stretch/distort before they settled and looked great. Would love to win that pillow sham for our Meyer farmhouse in Illinois!
I cannot get your online shop website to download. I can see the pitcher to the left and the headings and that is all. The pillow is dreamy and also my last initial...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new shop. I will keep checking to see when it will download.
Lovely post ...going to look at your new store now!!
ReplyDeleteI love your store, (especially the red stripe tea cloths,) the great photos, and how easy it is to get around the site.
ReplyDeleteI think the new web shop is great, I've had no issues. The page numbers need to be bigger so it's easier to get to the next page. I love all the transfer ware as well as the artwork, but agree with an earlier post that the prices are rather steep?!
ReplyDeleteSharon, Congratulations on the opening of your store! Great giveaway- the pillowcase is so lovely and the plates would be perfect as you said for serving chocolates or cookies. When I went to your store both yesterday and just now , when I click in accessories or linens or whatever ,nothing comes up. Not sure what the problem is but I can't see what you have for sale.
ReplyDeletelovely store. I love ALL the paintings :) (and everything else!)
ReplyDeleteSharon, I love your store!!...I'd take anything from the store, but I especially love the church painting, the egg baskets, and the cream pots. Such pretty things!!
ReplyDeleteJennifer
the store items are great, anything would be very nice!
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you, yesterday I drooled at all the yummy selections. What I would love just about anything, I loved the lines, the oils and just about anything!! Thanks for an opportunity...Di@Cottage-wishes
ReplyDeleteYour store is wonderful. I love the transfer ware cups and oh, my, the painting of the village church is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSharon, your store loaded quickly for me, and everything looks tickety-boo. I love the old books - what character they have. And of course, your giveaway is generous and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI like the layout of the store and the photographs, as well as the fact that the prices are upfront (and they include shipping). I went straight for the textiles, which are my favorite. I have a few suggestions: it would be extremely helpful to know the exact dimensions of the pieces! I cannot imagine buying a "linen bed sheet" without knowing how big it is, and the same goes for the nightgown, for example. Also, it would be great to know the condition of the pieces: since these are vintage, have they been used? If yes, do any of them have any sort of stains or defects? Finally, I would love to see more than one photo for the items: for example, it would be nice to see the entire nightgown instead of just the neck detail.
ReplyDeleteI hope this is helpful, and thank you for the giveaway!
your store is just beautiful. i'm always drawn to any sort of dish or linen, so i especially loved the different pots. my favorite were the cream pots and the mini cafe bowls. too cute. also LOVE the teacloths. the vintage striped ones were so colorful and i can see them in my kitchen!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful items- love your style! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love the new store -much easier to browse! I agree with a previous poster that dimensions would be very helpful. Love your taste!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely detail on the fabric..so many pretty items for sale in your on line store. The blue and whites are gorgeous!
leslie
Hi Sharon, seems that maybe we have problems here in NZ with the page not loading properly or it may just be the internet into the High Country!!!...and from the lovely comments from above it sounds too good to miss...I will keep checking though as I am dying to browse through your lovely items and dream about a little bit of France!!!...Kindest Regards Julia
ReplyDelete... website showed up but there was a large blank area att the top - the shop items showed up - my favorites were in china and tableware.
ReplyDeleteI am crazy for linens! Your store and blog is music to my heart. Thanks for sharing your fantastic finds!
ReplyDeleteBarb Noble
Hi, Sharon! I'll take one of everything, please!(lol) I've not had any problems with the pages loading or any other problems. Everything is truly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love. The linens are amazing. Love your blog and fabulous finds in your store!
ReplyDeleteLove the store. can get it to work and the layout is good. Im being very tempted by the artwork. the linen is gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteI looked at your store yesterday and thought how good it looks.
ReplyDeleteAs my surname begins with an M the pillow sham would be just right.
After having been rushed into hospital for emergency surgery I am now back home after 12 very difficult days - winning a give away would be lovely.
Diane.
Lovely, lovely shop, especially love the china (big teacups are my passion..not easy to find). It would be great to know the sizes of the sheets etc too. I hope it goes well
ReplyDeleteYour store is amazing....I love it, and I can't even start to say what I love more...Your taste is special.

The "M" works for me...! ;-)
Hi. I sent comments to the contact on the site. Sorry about that. Wanted to add here. I love the store. It is all so perfect and makes one want to immediately quit work and fly off to Normandy. I wanted to know if the site might do with a sale or discounted section as many items are beyond the reach of a school teacher in Brooklyn. I too want one of everything but will settle for the giveaways. They are so so lovely I love the oval pieces. Finally, the font color is a bit challenging to read. It might need to be changed. I love the color scheme though browns and roses. Wonderful site and so happy that you are generous enough to share with the world. Tammy in Brooklyn. Bon chance.
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, as you know I love vintage, and your new site is just lovely, the header is beautiful. I found it a little difficult when loading a few days ago, but just fine now!! I have loved my purchases from you, beautifully packaged and always a liitle surprise to accompany.....the sham would look just beautiful here! My last name starts with M! I always enjoy reading your posts, they are a beautiful start to my day here in Canada, continued success with your brocante shop! N.xo
ReplyDeleteI love the new store-especially the linen and fabric section. Thank you for the give-a-way!
ReplyDeletexo, Lissy Parker
Beautiful Blog, great store! Thank you for sharing and inspiring.
ReplyDeletelove your online store. Linens are my weakness, and your linens are simply gorgeous. The handembroidered pillow case win would be just great. Love your beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteDear Sharon, I too had a little trouble but managed to get thru it. It looks like you have a little glitch however I know you'll get it figured out. I will say I absolutely love the way you have the site set up and the merchandise is splendid. The china such as the brown and white plates and cups and saucers are my fav!!! Good luck with the site and congratulations!
ReplyDeletereally quite lovely and, outside of the beautiful merchandise, the site is easy to use. I had no trouble getting into it.
ReplyDeleteGrand Store, Sharon-I had no problems. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com
ReplyDeleteYour wonderful blog and gorgeous merchandise (beautifully presented) make me wish I'd never left Europe. I used to live in Heidelberg and lived exactly one hour from Strassbourg so happily spent much time (and $s) there . Great memories each time I glance at my purchases, now scattered around my home here in Texas. I think you've chosen a lovely cross-section of old French goodies, and I wish I had a spot for every single piece; perhaps it's time for me to start over! I especially love your selection of blue Transferware - so warm, timeless, and useful. Do you plan on carrying more silver/pewter pieces (I hope!)? You are a woman of fine taste who, like m'self, may have been born in the wrong era!
ReplyDeleteLove the store! That said, I did have a few problems viewing it. If I view it in Mozilla Firefox it looks fine. If I view it in Windows Internet Explorer I can only see the logo and links...and the links do not function.
ReplyDeleteSharon, Congratulations on your store! Lovely! I couldn't happen to a nicer person! And the give-aways, dreamy. Hugs, Rie' jlgmoratto@att.net
ReplyDeleteLOVE the shop! The blue/white tureen is exquisite and i am constantly searching for vintage 'B' monograms! I viewed it in Mozilla Firefox and had no problems...:) All the best to you!

ReplyDeleteYour store is wonderful; now to start a little savings pot so there will be funds when I see something I must have.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to participate in the giveaway; the pillow sham or the lively blue and white bowls would find a special place in my home.

ReplyDeletelove your blog. It has given me renewed energy to decorate.
ReplyDeleteI checked out the store when you first opened it and fell in LOVE! I've been a FB Fan ever since the Juniper Hill Antiques sisters mentioned you in one of their linky posts.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful store filled with some fabulous pieces! It was a bit slow to load, but once it did I really didn't have much problems. Wonderful Giveaway! I tried going to your store website but was unsuccessful. Says there are errors on the page. Would love to see it and maybe shop there, so hope you get it corrected soon.

I feel left out, I'm one of your followers who cannot open your shop page. It opens with the pitcher photo & all the headings, that's all & shows the message 'error on page' I'm a lover of old French linen. Have just been given 4 beautiful old linen sheets from my daughters French mother inlaw, who told me they had been given to her by her grand mother from the Auvergne. So I would love to be the proud owner of that delightful pillow sham, that is your give away to celebrate the opening of your online store. Felicitations et 'Bon chance'
ReplyDeleteLove the *feel* of your store. Somewhat quaint, somewhat elegant. Dainty yet rustic..a nice combination. Good luck with it...clearly it was created with love.
ReplyDeleteSandra :o)
The shop is awesome, want more please!
ReplyDeleteThanks,

ReplyDeleteEverything is so beautiful, I especially love the dishes with the blue edging! Good luck with your store!
ReplyDeleteOoh me me me!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just love the pillow sham which has my initial embroidered onto it.
I opened up your website as soon as it was downloaded in my emails.
It worked fine - all the pictures were big enough and I really liked the sideways slide of the images. It did however load slowly page to page but that could be just as much my computer as a glitch.
My only disappointment was that the beautiful red eiderdown/quilt on your home page isn't actually for sale. Beautiful, but even more gutting that when I clicked back to the home page it wouldn't show me it anymore - so I wasn't even able to enjoy drooling!!
Sharon,
ReplyDeleteYour store is gorgeous, as is the pillow sham, which has my last initial on it!
I especially love that antique wallpaper with the red cherry blossoms and small boats, as well as the black paper mache' plates and that gorgeous hand make copper saucepan! I had no electronic issues with the store at all!
Congratulations!
Jennifer McCracken jsmflake@comcast.net
Found you on Pinterest and am I glad. Love your store. Filled with so many charming things that it's difficult to pick favorites. Also am glad that I had no computer issues. Look forward to following you. I can have virtual visits to France and shopping.
ReplyDeleteYour shop says, elegance! I checked out the entire shop and just drooled on all the lovely blues and whites. The character of the books is wonderful, your shop loaded quickly. Good Luck and Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to see all the beautiful items in your shop but unfortunately it won't let me open it.
ReplyDeleteDelightful store. So much to drool over.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is the first I started following and I thought it was meant to be since I live on a street named Normandy!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and love all the items in your shop. Your photography is fantastic and I love the photos that appear when you go to the shop. LOVE those quilts!
The prices are a bit high BUT, I was reading the posts and is it true that shipping is included?!! That makes a BIG difference.
I had a little bistro with an antique shop years ago and I miss it so much. That was way before blogs and on line shopping. The smell of coffees and candles we had for sale, linens old and new - we served lunch on mismatched china and old silver and tableware from other antique shops. Here there is a 10% discount from one shop owner to another and I know that the time and care that goes into setting up something to sell is part of the price. Also, these items are one of a kind, not made or found in bulk. Just trying to help explain to some why the cost is a bit steep. And, if you are including shipping, the price is very reasonable. Things are just tight all over.
Sorry to take up so much space. Only problem I had was trying to enlarge a photo to take a closer look at the signature or logo on the bottom of a soup tureen, but I'm sure you are working on that. The kinks will all get worked out. In the meantime just know I, we your followers, love your blog and your new store.
I know I won't win (never win anything), but the M would be perfect for my granddaughter.
Wishing you continued success!
I love anything bleu...the little blue coffee cups, the three transferware plates! Your store is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI think your shop is beautiful! Filled with lovely, unique items and very easy to navigate! Please enter me in your wonderful give away! Thank you! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteI have shared your give away on my blog!
ReplyDeleteI have shared your give away on face book!
ReplyDeleteI have shared your give away on Twitter!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to have found your Facebook page, blog and store just today. What an afternoon find; your photos truly transport! Tomorrow morning between breakfast, running a five year old to preschool, playing with happy 13 month old and all the joys that come with our daily routine - I promise myself to find time to sip my coffee and further peruse :)Until then!
ReplyDeleteI could not open your shop page either. Such a disappointment! I'm sure it's lovely. I always enjoy the bits you pick up here and there!
ReplyDeleteLove your shop, especially the linens....so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi, Sharon! To my frustration, no matter what I do I cannot load your store; my system only gets half of it (the headers). I will have my husband explore some of your tips on how to troubleshoot this after he settles down this weekend from his workweek. In the meantime, I have enjoyed looking at your pristine pillow sham and pretty little transferware dishes. The sham is a thing of beauty and precise work for which I have deep respect...as we see the demise of handiwork/embroidery in so much of today's world. Thanks for a glimpse!
ReplyDeleteI love your photographs at the "entrance" to your store!
ReplyDeletePlease enter my name in your generous draw.
With appreciation,
Lise-Lotte
Such beauty to behold in your shop. I am new to your blog, but so glad I discovered it!! Your store seems easy to browse through, the pictures are beautiful.... it makes me want to buy everything!! I would love to be entered into your drawing! Linda
ReplyDeleteLovely as usual!
ReplyDeleteI love your online store. But if i had to choose i love vintage clothing and I do have quite a collection myself. I fidn the monogrammed linen nightdress speaks to me. I want to know more about the person who wore it.
ReplyDeleteI have also shared on facebook under lulu tini and on twitter @bellacat2011
