living by the water in France

Much as I love my home, I have always dreamt of living by water.  I know I'd get distracted too easily, and waste hours just watching the light and reflections, but one day I think I shall live beside a river or an ocean.

In the meantime, back to reality, this is a busy day,  so I simply wish you much fun and leave you with these beautiful images  of homes by the water in Normandy.

  2. So very lovely. I really appreciate living so close to the Rhone. I always find peace when I walk Ben along the quay. And living by the ocean (in California) was that experience times one thousand! How I would love to get back to that some day. Thanks for making me all dreamy!

    Bon weekend...

Thank you for beautiful pictures and also for my package from your brocante store which I plan to make into a picture to hang at my home in Brittany, more, please!

  35. Sharon,
I live by an ocean and it doesn't distract, rather water delivers an energy and peace like no other. I'd love to reside in France and ride horses, so am living through your posts! Keep sharing and contact me when you're in Southern California.
