A couple of shots I took while walking this week through early morning mist in 'our' forest. Thought I'd better clear this up, since some readers seem to think that we actually own this forest. The answer is "no".
Best of all worlds really, it's on our doorstep, well maintained, safe and ... empty. We see more deer than people up there so it just feels like it's ours.
Hope you have been enjoying the Big Outdoors this weekend.

wonderful

ReplyDeleteHow fortunate you are to have such natural beauty just outside your door.

How wonderful to have all the joys and none of the responsibility of owning that property.
ReplyDeleteThe photos are magic but a little errie too. My imagination tells me the headless horseman might burst out of that mist.
Oh how magical. You do have the best of both worlds.
ReplyDeleteLove that misty moisty morning you captured.
Oh Sharon
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful image you've captured.
I'll be in France in June and we will be having picnics in the forest on the edge of my DD village in Burgundy - so special!
Wishing you a wonderful week

This looks like the beginning of a very mysterious movie...wow!
ReplyDeleteThat looks alot like the forest behind our farmhouse. We, too, see more deer, turkey, and fox than people. Isn't that just heavenly?? :)

Divine....in fact I've done an etching of 'our' forest here in Australia...while we don't have deer, we've had a koala, a few wallabies and lots and lots of kookaburras and cockatoos. But alas...I'm about to leave it all and head for Paris.
ReplyDeleteMisty and mysterious. We spent the weekend in the sun in the Barossa Valley, doing lots of wine tasting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Sharon,
ReplyDeleteIt is very similar to here in the Southern Highlands!
We are so lucky to breath such wonderful fresh air from Mother Earth!
