Just loving this home, a farm, decorated in happy, light colours, comfortable mix of old and new. Attention to detail in colours and fabrics. A house to call home.
Loving the palette of colours, almost neutral with touches of pink and turquoise. Love the big white oven in the kitchen, the comfortable seating in the sitting room.
Thank you for reading me this week,
enjoy your weekend

Sitting on my couch thousands of miles away on a Saturday night with a lovely glass of red in hand, I am wisked away to another place through your glorious photos. I could happily take my glass of red and move into this beautiful home tomorrow...

Hello Sharon
ReplyDeleteThis is so inviting and comfortable and I, too, would feel right at home.
It has a feminine side in a subtle way.

Dearest Sharon,
ReplyDeleteThat would be a great place to cozy up with some nice magazines to read, great comfort food and the wind blowing outside... Just to be WARM!
Love to you,
Mariette
Such a serene place - it's absolutely lovely. I am peering at those rugs in the bedroom - they look as though they are quilted, no? Is that a traditional French style, I am wondering? I would like similar!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing Maison! The pink girl's bedroom made me wish for daughters. The elegance of the living room calls to me and the kitchen leaves me breathless. Thanks so much for posting... This goes into my DREAM file!
ReplyDeleteWe just do not have homes like that here in America. The bedroom is my favorite...I could sleep there. The little chandie is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this, Sharon. I love my own cozy farmhouse, but this is the one I'll dream about tonight...
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Oh yes!
ReplyDeleteThe longer we live in this huge noisy city, the more we think and talk about moving to the country .. perhaps the NY State country ..

ReplyDeleteThe decor is so perfectly fitted to bucolic country living. So enviably pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis blend of rustic elegance and pared down luxury is soooo pretty, and appealing. Makes me kind of wish I could click my heels and be there right now! Beautiful....
ReplyDeleteThere is an atmosphere of serenity in this simple yet elegant home, which has provided some inspiration for decorating My French Folly.... if only the house were at the stage of decorating. 10 months have passed and nothing has happened, apart from me parting with money!. Best wishes for a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWith a Debussy soundtrack at all times!
ReplyDeleteThe stone walls are so appealing to me, and the soft easy-to-live-with colours.
ReplyDeleteOh.....I could be verrry happy living in that amazing French home! It is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing it today! :)

ReplyDeleteSooooo peaceful and calming! Great photography too!
ReplyDeletehow lovely! a beautiful share!
ReplyDeleteWould you tell us a bit more about your range? It's a gorgeous LaCanche! Is it white or ivory? Also, the brass trim seems less shiny than other photos I've seen of LaCanche ranges. Did you do anything to it to give it that beautiful worn look or has it just softened naturally over time?
ReplyDeleteGreat - Inspiring - Thanks!!!
