After the first day of the sale at Finchcocks I have nothing but thank-you's today ..... thank you to everybody who came to buy, who stopped to chat; thank you to the readers of my blog who specially came to say hello ! amazing!!
thank you that it didn't rain
(although if tomorrow we could also cancel the wind we'd be grateful!)
grateful for spending the day in such a beautiful setting ......
and for the friendly and seamless organisation ...
and for the friendly and seamless organisation ...
so grateful to the special friends who turned up with a sumptuous picnic lunch for us
merci to my daughter for all her help and for being such good fun,
and to the kind gentleman who helped me stop my tent flying away in the wind
and finally thank you all for being so patient, as I have probably posted far too much about this event - tomorrow we'll have a change of mood I promise ......
a demain mes amis!

Congrats, it sounds like a huge success. So nice to meet bloggie friends. Hugs, Marty

ReplyDeleteWould have been a dream to stop by and visit you there! Here's to a big sales day tomorrow!!
ReplyDeleteWell done you Sharon :) Hope it paid off too. Joyeuse fête des Mères! I had to laugh, I have a trunk like the gorgeous one you have for sale and I just bought some old cake molds this weekend too. That's it! I'm getting back into brocanting, I miss it too much :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you ever transported everything there, much less organized it and then stood all day to sell it! Kudos to you!
ReplyDelete(Sure wish I could go...)
Looks like you had a marvellous day!
ReplyDeleteWell done. It has been so windy in Wales too, for the past 2 weeks now, really annoying!

The location is lovely and the books intrigue me. How fun for blog friends to attend, though I live too far, in California, to join in.
ReplyDeleteSo glad all went well for you @ Finchcocks Sharon - what a truly beautiful setting!
