I can't help being British at heart. The wedding has left me with a pleasant sort of fuzzy feeling inside. If I had to pick out three highlights of what was a very beautiful day and a seamless show, it would have to be the:
oak trees inside the abbey - BRILLIANT!
the drive in the eco-friendly Aston Martin
and DEFINITELY the church dean's cartwheels down the aisle of the Abbey!! LOVE IT!!

I enjoyed it too - it was lovely to see this young couple so happy together - loved the cartwheels!

Thanks for the cartwheels; they brought a smile.
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful! The whole thing.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, it was all fabulous but I did love those trees in particular. They gave a real sense of the vastness of the Abbey. It was all so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHadn't seen the cartwheels until now - such fun! Didn't get to see it live, but have enjoyed seeing so many of the highlights.
ReplyDeleteThe cartwheels made me laugh out loud. Great post for a great day.
ReplyDeleteWell picked Sharon, I especially loved the trees. Such a fresh and simple way of brightening up the space and bringing the outside in. I always like the idea of using live plants rather than making huge arrangements out of dead flowers. All in all, it was a surprisingly fresh wedding between two young people who seem very much in love.
ReplyDeleteSitting around breakfast and starting our school day, I got goosebumps as we watched the royal wedding. It was great fun to see such fairy tale moments!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Wasn't it fabulous. I loved it all - Bon weekend!
ReplyDeleteI agree it was a lovely day. I laughed when I saw that priest doing cartwheels on the news. I couldn't believe how composed Kate and William seemed.
ReplyDeleteOoohh!! :-0
ReplyDeleteI love very much the muguet!!!

I will never tire of seeing these magnificent pictures......so gorgeous!! Such a happy beautiful occasion!
ReplyDeleteIt was indeed a gorgeous wedding. I loved the trees in the Abbey, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy May!
It was beautiful! I did get my own invitation to the royal wedding - I arrived at my 92-year-old neighbor Ethel's at 4:00 a.m.!
ReplyDeleteI would have done cartwheels after all that, too.
I didn't see the cartwheels! Thank you! Aside from the fact that the new princess was wearing MY crown, it was great fun to watch.
