Dior is a mythical name, that has always been and will always be linked to Paris. I love the way Dior uses the city of Paris to enhance the Frenchness of their image. I love the old shots of Dior fashion taken in an empty 1950's Paris. I love the way the Eiffel Tower appears regularly. I have to admit that I even like the new ad using Miss Moss in a stunning Paris hotel suite.

Such gorgeous classic pictures. A time when a "lady" really looked like a lady. Such class and elegance...I wasn't around during those times yet I miss that refinment and feel todays world is very much lacking!

Love this...I wish we could go back to dressing this way and the advertisers all took photos like this rather than every model being near nude. Don't get me wrong, the body is absolutely beautiful, but the elegance of these photos portrays classic sexiness.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of beautiful clothes. You can actually see the clothes back then, unlike today. I would have loved to be in my 20's back in the 1950's and wear those outfits. Also to be in Paris, too. ;-)
