We seem to have several invitations to dinner in Paris over the next couple of months. Now, while Paris is only an hour from here, I have to admit that, late in the evening, that drive home seems a lot longer to me.
I've even started dreaming about a flat in Paris, somewhere to stop over to sleep, to entertain Paris friends, to go home to after the theatre, to spend the weekend in with the children when we need our dose of culture and city lights.
Wouldn't this be just the perfect place? Well positioned in St Germain, beautifully decorated in soothing colours, light and spacious, packed with oh-so-Parisian details. LOVE IT! This bijoux isn't up for sale ( so my husband doesn't need to start feeling nervous) it's on the books of our friend Erica at Haven in Paris - so maybe one day we'll just rent it ..... and pretend! Who wants to come stay?
all photos thanks to Haven in Paris

That would be a perfect place for you - but not for me.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I haven't enough money! :-)
Salut!

That home is stunning, I'm in if you need an extra renter! Looks like a big apartment for Paris since I know they're usually small.
ReplyDeletePerfect is an understatement.....can I be your first houseguest? Loove the apartment, the decor, everything about it...stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Sharon. It's absolutely gorgeous!

oh I forgot word verification, please take it away! I always close your site before my note goes through.
ReplyDeleteSo here is what I said the first comment... If I had a million dollars that place would be the greatest! Plus it takes a while to get to Paris from Dallas. I'll just have to dream.
ReplyDeleteNot that I needed a reminder why, but these images show the ambiance and flare of Paris.....and I love Paris.
ReplyDeleteOh, that would be the most perfect and romantic "little" pied-à-terre! Who doesn't dream of having a pied-à-terre in Paris! So chic!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend with a tiny attic in the Rue St Severin which is now and ever shall be my idea of the perfect Parisian pied a terre - her closest neighbours are gargoyles!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful - will be back to check it out more.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely and I think time in the city for some culture, friends, and city lights you can count me in as well...lol!
ReplyDeleteA Paris dreamscape how sweet it is.

My childhood friend used to invite me to their cozy apartment in New Orleans for weekends. It was some of the most exciting memories of my middle school years. Having a place (like #2!) would be the ultimate!
ReplyDeleteDreamy to say the least! I love Haven In Paris apartments. I stayed in one of theirs in Montmartre one time and while it was not as fancy as this one it did feel like my own flat in the city of lights. If I win the lottery this one would be my first stop. Thanks...

that idea makes total sense...buying a second home in Paris. I'm going to try to sell my husband on that one tonight! the interiors of the photos are stunning!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful ... and having done some research on this, I found that we can perhaps afford to live in an apt in Paris that is the size of that last photos living room :)
ReplyDeleteThat settles it! I am getting silk seafoam drapes for the living room! TOO beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis apartment would be a dream come true. Any little flat in Paris would due, but this one - oh it would be fabulous!
ReplyDeleteNice rental, I just posted 2 of my dream Paris rentals in the last 2 weeks, funny I thought I was the only one wanting to rent in Paris...
