It looks like Spring has definitely arrived. I love the double?? daffodils. They remind me of the ones my grandmother called "scrambled eggs". I'm sure they probably had a proper name but I never knew it. Thanks for the happy Spring view of your home.
I love it when daffodils are planted in the lawn like that. It is rare to find that here - I think because they just don't spread that fast because it is colder. I remember seeing it when I went to Bristol in March - and couldn't get enough of it.
The daffodils are just gorgeous!! We are about a month behind you with spring but it iS getting warmer so that makes me happy. We are supposed to get more snow by the end of the week however. Your photos are just beautiful!!
It is so nice to see a garden full of bright yellow daffodils, especially surrounded by lush spring grass. I have had to buy some to put around the house as they have not opened in my own garden. Enjoy your week, Abby :)
Love those daffodils! Chicago is finally filled with hope and promise that Spring too shall come! Little "heads" of green starting to come through the earths surface,,,,,,a reminder that the snowfalls that were so plentiful are probably on their way out............Your pictures almost created the smell of the earth after a Spring rain....

Welcome to my French country home.
We love our old French house. It's a joy to entertain here, to fill the house with family and friends. Good food, beautiful countryside, bits and pieces found in local brocantes, children, dogs, horses, all this in a deep green valley in the heart of Normandy.
