As I work around the house - in the kitchen cooking - then off doing some more decorating, just took a few snaps of the chandelier in the dining room. We use real candles over our dining table, sounds impractical but is actually no big deal.
The chandelier I have at present is made of a rust brown metal, with soft curves and arabesques. At this time of year I like to dress it up. This year I just hung a few baubles and pampilles in colours that fit the room. Added a few strands of ivy, and that's that.
Gotta go, something's smelling cooked!

Le candelier est très jolie.
ReplyDeleteNow hurry up to save the meal!
Salut!

ReplyDeleteLove this. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe chandelier is exquisite. Do be careful of those candles though, a dear friend came back from the German Christmas markets so enamoured of the candle-lit Christmas trees she talked her husband into having one in their home. Lasted all of about three minutes before a branch caught fire and all the smoke alarms went off. Thankfully everyone lived to tell the tale and laugh about it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, love the color of the adornments!!
ReplyDeleteYOur party is going to be amazing and I can smell the goodness right through the screen!!!
Yum
How wonderful! And very festive! That looks great with the decorations hanging from it! (We have some antlers on our wall at home that I hang Christmas balls on too! He he)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful chandelier Sharon and so festive! Hope you didn't burn anything!
ReplyDeleteNow that would look goregous in the evening sittign around the dining table. Very pretty idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful light the chandelier must throw over your guests and family. There's something about candlelight that is both festive and softening. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the rich, dark colors of the ornaments. In the past I have strung lemon, lime and orange slices onto fishing line and then attached them to my chandelier.
ReplyDeletePretty!
