When French blogging becomes art - Gris Bleu

Check out this stunning blog!   Artistic, sensitive, French and ..... written by a Frenchman!

Gris Bleu is guaranteed to whisk you away to France, in a dream of grey blue softness.  Philippe lives in Paris and his spirit is inhabited by the daily images of life in the most beautiful quartiers of the capital.

He loves the light in Paris, he watches people, he adores brocantes and the quirky items he finds there. He creates beautifully imaginative artwork.

I have rarely seen such an original and yet quintessentially French blog.  I hope you enjoy these pictures.   Sit back and let the images transport you to a world of artistic sensibility, where the wonderful is revealed in our everyday surroundings.   Gris-Bleu is definitely on my reading list for a while to come!

  17. MOTH's been muttering for a while now about starting his own blog. Philippe has set the bar for boy bloggers. I can now relax, as MOTH will not come in a cooee of this in a million years, so there's no point in him even bothering to start - YAY!!!

  18. @ Millie: :)))))))))))))))))))))))

Sahron, it's true, Philippe is setting the bar of 'male blogging' incredibly high - his photography is as lovely and ethereal as he is (well, maybe he's hopefully not ehtereal but real...)
Thank you for being such a terrific sport of pointing out such a brilliant blog to us.
And sorry for only starting to comment now - I have finally checked that I only can follow you when I put you in my favourites bar, together with my other 'tagged' bloggers. Couldn't get any newsletter updates from you - but this is changing as from now!
    Have a great weekend
I'll keep those lovely, fluffy, light and sensuous images within me when going to Paris later in the day...
