Une terrasse a Paris

As summer finally arrives here in France, not everyone has space to enjoy open fields and never ending gardens.  In Paris, small, private, secret even,  terraces come into their own at this season.  A space to enjoy intimate dinners with friends, to work alone, to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine before affronting the busy city.  A space to clad in green, to enjoy the blue roofs all around, to ......  feel privileged.

  4. They do look inviting, don't they? I would love to create that type of feeling on our yet-to-be built deck.

  5. What lovely little spaces. I just love Paris. It has just got to be one of the most elegant and romantic cities of all. Meanwhile, I am enjoying my last day in San diego. The flowers that grow here can barely be coaxed under glass in the UK!

  11. Just found you..... What a lovely home you have with such beautiful views. I wish I had adopted France many years ago, late adoption makes learning French very difficult:( Diane

  19. Those places look so inviting. Last year I could see some balconies and terrasses from the train traveling from Versailles to Paris, and they are so beautifull
