Wow, friends who came to dinner on Saturday brought me a real treat!
Chocolates from the amazing Debauve et Gallais, a 200 year old shop in Paris. I don't know which is more spectacular, the 'finesse' and flavour of the chocolates, or the wonderful wonderful packaging.
If you have the chance to go to the store, you will first admire the rounded wooden counter
then you'll walk around gasping and sighing at the perfect jewel like chocolates. This is the only place I have ever been offered food decorated with real gold leaf !!
